Dr. Marks uses the Dirty Dancing star as a “good example of how a nose job (rhinoplasty) can dramatically alter one’s appearance.” He points out that removing the “dorsal hump” from her nose made her “look very different” and removed one of her “defining features.” While this change may have “gotten in the way of movie roles,” Dr. Marks offers a mixed personal opinion: “I personally think she looks better since it’s just a tad smaller. But the problem is that she doesn’t look like she used to.”
